Neon is a new website from EngineeringUK which brings together the UK's best engineering experiences and inspiring careers resources to help teachers bring STEM to life with real world examples of engineering.
As well as careers resources produced by EngineeringUK Neon also showcases carefully curated resources from across the engineering and STEM education sectors.
It is an opportunity to connect schools, businesses, educational establishments and students.
All experiences featured on Neon will meet our quality criteria so teachers can be sure they are of the best possible standard. The quality criteria have been developed with the engineering community and only those experiences that meet the criteria feature on the site. For example, experiences must include positive and contemporary messaging about engineering and engineering careers, they should be inclusive in design and delivery and committed to embedding learning and improvement.
Developed with strategic support from British Science Association, Department for Education, Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Engineering and Technology, Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Royal Academy of Engineering, Shell and STEM Learning, Neon is launched on 29 September.
