Tomorrow’s Engineers Week is a community-wide campaign that has taken place every November since 2013. The Week is all about showcasing modern engineering careers to young people, their teachers, parents and other influencers. While the Week is run by EngineeringUK, its success lies in the support it garners from professional engineering institutions, employers, educators, government departments, practitioners and thousands of individual engineering professionals.
From events and social campaigns to the Big Assembly and Big Quiz, Tomorrow’s Engineers Week mobilises the engineering community, gets widespread coverage in traditional and digital media, highlights the diversity of modern engineering careers and gets young people thinking and talking about the inspiring things engineers do.
Everyone is encouraged to take part in Tomorrow’s Engineers Week in some way. For individuals that is sharing their story on social media, while many companies and organisations run their own campaigns during the Week.
Details of Tomorrow’s Engineers Week will be published on the Tomorrow’s Engineers website.
