We're delighted to encourage STEM professionals to apply for one of 2 opportunities:

Judge The Big Bang Competition (online opportunity)

Support brilliant young people by reviewing their project entries online, sharing constructive feedback, and celebrating their creativity and problem‑solving.

Becoming a Big Bang Competition judge is a simple, rewarding way to make an impact. You only need to give a limited amount of your time (around 8 hours), and full training is provided. It’s a chance to inspire young people, see incredible STEM ideas first-hand, and share your expertise without a big commitment.

The deadline for applications is 19 February 2026.
