This partnership reflects our shared commitment to tackling climate change and inspiring the next generation of engineers who will deliver the solutions our planet urgently needs. Together, we can inspire organisations to work with young minds and build a sustainable, fairer future.

As the sole charity partner, EngineeringUK will engage with exhibitors and visitors alike. Through this partnership, we aim to:

  • drive collective action to address climate challenges through education and innovation
  • highlight real-world impact by connecting industry leaders with initiatives that support schools and students nationwide
  • empower the next generation by showcasing pathways into engineering careers that contribute to net zero goals

EngineeringUK's Chief Executive, Dr Hilary Leevers, will also speak at the event.

Jonathan Marriage, Content Manager for Innovation Zero, commented: “We are genuinely excited about engaging our audience in the opportunity the low carbon transition presents for developing the workforce of the future, while highlighting the urgency with which we need to plan and invest in STEM skills at this crucial stage of development. By nurturing these skills, we are building the workforce that will drive change and lead the transition to a low-carbon, future economy.”

EngineeringUK's Head of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Susi Farnworth, celebrated the news. "By partnering with this influential event, EngineeringUK can amplify its mission to create a diverse and skilled workforce ready to deliver climate solutions. This collaboration is about empowering young people to take on the climate challenge and equipping them with the tools to succeed. We're really looking forward to working with Innovation Zero's exhibitors and meeting visitors over the 2 day conference."
