The Engineering Council is hosting ‘Making it work’, an online event on 21 April looking at using professional standards and guidance to develop engineering competence for a sustainable world. The event has a range of speakers from UN Assistant Secretary-General, Nikhil Seth and Google’s Dr Larissa Suzuki to CIWEM Chief Executive Terry Fuller and CIBSE Technical Manager Julie Godefroy.

The event will look at the UN Sustainable Development Goals, their importance and how Engineering Council Standards can help achieve them, guidance on sustainability and how to put that into practice in the sector.
