The All Party Parliamentary Group on Youth Employment is currently undertaking an inquiry into employer support for youth employment. The focus of the inquiry considers the role government is asking employers to play in careers education, apprenticeships, T Levels, work experience and welfare. Youth Employment UK are working to explore what is working well, where there may be tension in the systems and how prepared schools, colleges are to support these asks.
The deadline for inquiry submissions is 1 March 2019. The findings of the inquiry will be presented to a minister at the APPG meeting on 29 April.
