The C2I Awards return for 10th anniversary

Run by The Engineer magazine, the annual Collaborate to Innovate (C2I) Awards are open for nominations. EngineeringUK is proud to support the awards, as well as join the judges.

Now in it’s tenth year, the C2I Awards celebrate the UK’s most innovative and inspiring examples of engineering collaboration.

We’re delighted to see the return of 2 awards focusing on engineers of the future. The first is ‘STEM Initiative’ – a category celebrating the most innovative and effective STEM engagement projects which inspire young people to consider careers in engineering. The second is ‘Young Innovator’, a category celebrating the best school student-based engineering projects.

The main competition is open to innovative technology-led projects involving 2 or more organisations collaborating in 1 of 9 categories. These include automotive, aerospace defence and security, information data and connectivity, healthcare and medical, energy and environment, and manufacturing technology. The project will have already demonstrated a positive impact on their area of interest, or is likely to do so in the future.

We encourage you to share with your networks and encourage eligible candidates to enter. They still have time, applications close at midnight on 12 September! Those shortlisted will be invited to a drinks reception on Thursday 26 February 2026, when the winners will be announced.
