Help show young people how they can shape our future
Running from 9 to 13 November, Tomorrow's Engineers Week is an annual campaign that inspires young people to consider careers in engineering and technology. This year's theme, Shape our future, highlights how engineering and technology tackle real-world challenges and encourages young people to see themselves creating future solutions.
To bring the theme to life, we're inviting you to share how your work makes a difference. Today we’re launching a toolkit to help you share your stories.

Help young people discover the people behind engineering
Young people care deeply about the future and want careers that make a difference. Our research shows that 46% of young people are interested in an engineering career, but only 25% think engineering fits well with who they are. Hearing from people working across engineering and technology is one of the most effective ways to bridge that gap. By sharing your story, you'll help young people understand how engineering improves lives and how they could play a part in solving future challenges.
Download the toolkit
We've produced a toolkit to help make it easy for you to get involved and amplify the campaign through your networks. The toolkit has everything you need to support Tomorrow's Engineers Week 2026, including:
campaign messaging and key information
social media assets and suggested posts
guidance on sharing your career story
This November EngineeringUK marks its 25th anniversary. We'll be reaffirming our commitment to help create the diverse workforce engineering and technology needs to thrive. As part of #TEWeek26 we're inviting everyone across the engineering and technology community to join us in making a pledge for the future.
Why get involved?
If young people can't see people like them in engineering careers, they won’t be inspired to choose those career paths. Hearing career stories from relatable role models is essential. By sharing your experience, you'll help students discover different pathways into the sector and explore how their interests could lead to a future career. Last year, thousands of young people engaged with activities during Tomorrow's Engineers Week. Help us reach even more students this year with your stories!
Tomorrow’s Engineers Week has become a staple in many schools’ calendars. It’s a fantastic opportunity for teachers to inspire their students and help them consider how they could develop solutions for global challenges in their future.
